![]() One surefire way to make your customers hate your products is to be woken up at the crack of dawn because 'my Roblox doesn't work!' this gets old very quickly. One of my kids devices just chooses to block their access to Roblox when they've used all their time up the previous day. On top of all this, the app time limits seem to not work correctly. Not that it matters, it'll take up to 15 minutes for the settings to apply, enough time for one kid to smash the other in the face because 'it's not fair, why is mine blocked and not theirs!' The helpful features are all hidden under a hierarchy of menus, which greatly slow down your ability to actually make any changes to your kids device. There is no app time restrictions (despite having an overall device time limit) nor is there a quick and easy way of timing out your kids devices. While it looks very pretty, it's missing some fundamentally basic features you need to help manage your kids devices. We are always examining new ways to improve our Parental Control and we will share your opinion with our Development team to consider improving this with future releases. Your feedback is highly appreciated and will help us to improve our ability to serve you and other users of Qustodio. As such the content filters need to be more customisable and changes in settings need to work I think Qustodio is more suited for children less than 10 but for teenagers I think some controls can be wound back a bit. I have since gone back to the inbuilt Screen Time app in iOS and to be honest it does a sufficient job. I figured this may have been due to a lag in changed settings, but even after a few days, the same sites/videos were still blocked. On a side by side comparison with my phone, there were many instances where I couldn’t see a reason why some sites or videos were being blocked.įinally, the reason I deleted the app and requested a refund, was that I removed all content filters on my child’s phone (as part of the comparison above) and content continued to be blocked. This might suit some parents or young kids but it blocks many legitimate sites. Its frustrating for kids and adults when the icon has moved The lockout at night impacts the app icons on the Home Screen and affects sorting and folders etc. The time restriction controls only allow on/off in 1 hour blocks, which makes little sense. Settings need to be worked out with some trial and error. 5 day fee trial is insufficient to fully assess the functionality, considering its a child using the device, not an adult. I installed the app on a recommendation from a friend.
